Shady Grove at Dos Lagos Retirement Community
Shady Grove is planned as a unique gated village of 112 condominium homes located within the Dos Lagos residential development of south Corona. Award-winning architect Robert Hidey designed this active adult community and it features architectural detail unusual for homes of this size. The lovely one, two and three-bedroom condos can be customized to your taste and offer a variety of features including attached garages and private patios or decks.
Paths within the community lead from your door to the private clubhouse and pool area. There's a homey feel to the clubhouse which has a fireplace surrounded by comfortable sofas, a full-sized pool table, and a big-screen TV. A large kitchen and attached patios can accommodate big get-togethers and the clubhouse can be reserved.
The pool and spa are heated year-round, and the surrounding cabanas offer shade for relaxing. Water aerobics and lap swimming laps are popular at the pool and the grandchildren can swim too when they visit.
Dining and shopping are just across the street at Promenade Shops at Dos Lagos. In the summer, friends gather for a meal and enjoy the free concerts at the amphitheater.
Prices for the new residences at Shady Grove will range from $145,000 to $262,000 with HOA/maintenance fees about $350 a month for the recreational facilities, maintenance, landscaping, sewer and trash services.
One member of the household must be at least 55 years of age in California senior communities, and other members 45 (except in caretaker situations), but homes can always be purchased and owned by younger buyers.
